We are recruiting - Sessional Leaders for North West regions

Cycling Projects is recruiting for sessional members of staff to lead Pedal Away bike rides and Wheels for All sessions in locations across the North West. This is an opportunity to work with a well-established and respected charity to help improve the well-being and health of people through leading beginner and intermediate Pedal Away rides, running Wheels for All sessions using adapted bikes as well as supporting our Bike Buddy project.

We are looking for enthusiastic, welcoming ride leaders who can engage with people and put them at ease on our rides.

Pedal Away rides range from three-mile park rides to rides of up to 15 miles on the road and Wheels for All sessions take place in parks and green spaces using a range of adapted bikes. Our Bike Buddy project offers individual support with route planning and buddy rides to enable people to get to the places they want.

Across the range of delivery programmes, you will be working with adults and children with differing abilities and needs, and you will be able to deal with minor mechanical problems as they arise. The ability to keep accurate records of our rides is also important. But most of all we are looking for someone who can help promote our rides to new people and motivate them to keep coming back for more!

We have opportunities for ride leaders on our weekday daytime and evening rides & activities, occasional weekend rides and events.
