This exciting role will focus on creating regular inclusive cycling opportunities for disabled people and those leading inactive lifestyles from across Gloucester and the surrounding regions.
Working alongside partners from Leonard Cheshire, Active Glocs, Gloucester council and various disability partners, we will continue to create and deliver a regular inclusive cycling offer for children, adults and the elderly recovering from ill health, those living with a disability and creating a support programme for their families and friends.
We are recruiting for an inclusive cycling co-ordinator to deliver and develop a well-received inclusive cycling offer for Gloucester and its surrounding communities, including the existing Wheels for All programme and the development of new inclusive cycling initiatives.
You will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities and securing future funding to enable Gloucester Wheels for All and other inclusive cycling initiatives to be sustainable for future years, and that becomes an asset for the communities of Gloucester.
You will ideally have experience of managing community projects and have experience of working with people of all abilities/or previously worked for a charity.
You will be enthusiastic, driven, well organised and able to embrace cycling as a credible activity for all to enjoy, by delivering effective inclusive cycling sessions on a regular basis in Gloucester.
We require an individual who is enthusiastic, able to deliver and develop, be energised and want to make a difference to people’s lives through inclusive cycling activities.
