Norwich Wheels for All at UEA

The inclusive cycling sessions at Sportspark are designed for people of all abilities, using adapted cycles in a safe outdoor environment. You’ll have the opportunity to ride specially adapted cycles (or bring your own), with support from paid coaches and volunteers who provide helmets and guidance. Carers or family members are encouraged to attend and assist with getting on/off the bikes and escorting riders as needed. For the session you’ll need weather-appropriate clothing, comfortable closed toe shoes, and ensure a helmet is worn at all times whilst cycling!

Inclusive cycle sessions are held outdoors at Sportspark Athletics Track on the first Sunday of each month, with the time split into two 45-minute sessions (10:00-10:45 and 11:00-11:45). You can book in advance by calling our reception team, or you can pay on arrival to the Sportspark! There are 10 cyclists per session. Sessions are held at the athletics track, where our coaches and volunteers will be waiting for you!

The cost for each session is £3.00 per participant. Carers are free of charge.

Sportspark offers full facility support, you’ll find accessible toilets, a café where you can purchase food or drink before or after your session, and parking on-site at UEA’s Sportspark Carpark (Tickets can be validated at reception after the session!) The venue is used widely for inclusive sports and aims to be accessible and welcoming to all so we really hope you enjoy your time with us!
