Poynton Pedals

Pynton Pedals started as a group of cyclists who realised when riding along Middlewood Way that there were limited facilities in the area for those who have limited mobility or are wheelchair-bound to enjoy a cycle along this lovely disused railway track which has a good surface for easy cycling.

A project was set up to raise money and the Hub now have a wheelchair bike, a side-by-side tandem, a traditional tandem, a hand-cycle and a number of tricycles for use by those with limited mobility or visual impairment.

Poynton Pedals also have two wheel bikes available for family and friends so they can accompany the users on their rides.

The group are located in the car park of the Boars Head, Poynton just opposite Middlewood Way. There is parking available for users.
