Wheels for All Salford
NOTE: WHEELS FOR ALL SALFORD WILL OPERATE ON SATURDAY’S THROUGHOUT NOVEMBER 2024 DUE TO ESSENTIAL TRACK MAINTENANCE BEING CARRIED OUT ON WEEKDAYS. SESSIONS WILL RUN FROM 10AM UNTIL 2PM AS NORMAL.
Wheels for All is an Inclusive Cycling programme that embraces all children and adults with disabilities and differing needs to engage with quality cycling activity, using adapted cycles such as handcycles, trikes and wheelchair transporter to assist in building confidence and independence in cycling.
Here at Wheels for All Salford, we deliver inclusive cycling initiatives, as we aim to encourage health improvement, social inclusion and, to provide adapted cycling for people with a disability or differing needs. Come and join us for a whole lot of cycle fun and try out our fleet of adapted cycles, with the help and support of our WFA staff and volunteers.
Sessions are every Friday 10am to 2pm and cost £5 per individual ( carers/parents go free )
Wheels for All Salford is based at Cleaveley Athletics Track which is in the district of Winton in the south of Salford. The location is close to the spur of the M602. Additionally, there is the option to cycle onto the Monton Greenway (a local traffic free cycle facility).
