Wheels for All Clacton

Wheels for All Clacton is based at Shorefields School, Clacton-on-Sea. Here at Wheels for All we aim to encourage health improvement, social inclusion and to provide adapted cycling for anyone with a disability or differing needs. We use the extensive playground set in lovely surroundings for our sessions and offers a range of cycles for all needs. A one-mile ride is just ten laps of the playground! The sessions are delivered by Wheels for All staff and trained volunteers. Helmets are provided.

Sessions time are:

Wednesday’s
3.15pm - 4pm
4pm - 4.45pm
4.45pm - 5.30pm

We run year-round but will close sessions in extreme weather conditions.

Bring your own refreshments and water, toilet facilities are inclusive.

Parking is free in the school car park (Only accessible WFA users between 3pm and 6pm during school hours and during
session times).

Sailship is a work and life skills training centre for people living with a learning disability. It is set amongst allotments, garden areas and woodlands and has a short, peaceful pathway that is used for walking or cycling using our adapted cycles.

The pathway at Sailship is aimed at people with a disability, additional needs, long term health conditions or recovering from illness. Our sessions are run by Wheels for All trained staff and volunteers who are on hand for support and guidance.

We have sessions running at Sailship on Thursday mornings:
9.45am - 10.45am
10.45am - 11.45am

Please bring your own refreshments, helmets are provided.
Toilets are available.
Numbers are limited therefore booking is essential.
