Wheels for All Kendal Fundraising Day

21 September, 2024

Kendal

Wheels for All Kendal are holding a fundraising day which will include a social ride for adapted bikes and friends and family of our participants. Entry is open to all, and there are THREE routes that attendees can choose from!

The event will be taking place on Saturday 21st September, 10am to 2pm. Rides will be starting and finishing at Halton Station and will take place over the picturesque on the Lune Valley cycleway.

Entry to the rides is open to all participants, family and friends! Wheels for All Kendal are asking participants to either raise sponsorship or make a donation of £10 to the charity.

The day is sure to be a lot of fun and offer some amazing views across the cycleway. There are even prizes up for grabs for the top 3 fundraisers.

Toilets will be available at Halton Station; a catering van will be on site for hot food and drinks. Refreshment stations will be sited along the route of rides.

Rides will be on level smooth surfaces along the old railway track. Up the valley 5km and 10km with fabulous views of the Lune Valley, and down the valley 5km to Skerton Aquaduct, 10km to Lancaster Millenium bridge or 25km to Glasson Dock.
