You may remember that last year Wheels for All received funding support from Cheshire Community Foundation, allowing us to enhance our inclusive cycling offering in Warrington.
A few weeks ago, we were delighted to welcome the team from the Foundation to the Warrington Hub to give them the chance to see first-hand how their contribution has empowered our participants, hearing directly from staff, volunteers, and cyclists themselves about the positive impact inclusive cycling has had on their lives.
“Funding from Cheshire Community Foundation has been instrumental in supporting our Warrington Hub and the visit has been a great way to show the real impact the funding has had. It has allowed us to continue our sessions, reach more people, and ensure that cycling remains an accessible and enjoyable activity for all,” said Nicola Henshaw, Head of Fundraising and Development at Wheels for All.
The day was all caught on this lovely video below and is a celebration of the community that has grown at our Hub, where participants of all abilities can enjoy cycling in a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether it’s building confidence, making friends, or enjoying time outdoors, the benefits of inclusive cycling are clear to see.
A huge thank you to the team at Cheshire Community Foundation for their ongoing support. Your generosity makes our work possible, ensuring that more disabled people can discover the joy of cycling.
