Change lives through the joy of cycling
At Wheels for All, everyone deserves the freedom, enjoyment, and confidence that cycling brings — whatever their age, ability, or background.
Our volunteers make this possible. They create welcoming spaces where people learn, have fun, and discover independence through cycling.
“People who aren’t normally able to get out cycling can come here and join in and enjoy the great outdoors. I can see how the simple act of cycling brings so much happiness.”
— Vince, Volunteer

One of my most cherished moments came during a session for visually impaired riders. The clients were incredible — confident, enthusiastic, and full of joy as they felt the fresh air on their faces. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, and in the end I cried tears of happiness. It was a reminder of why this work matters so deeply.
— Harry, Volunteer

Flexible and inclusive volunteering
At Wheels for All, inclusion isn’t just something we talk about — it’s at the heart of everything we do.
We’re proud to create a welcoming, accessible, and supportive environment where everyone feels they belong. We celebrate diversity and recognise the unique value that each of our volunteers bring to our community.
As a Disability Confident Committed employer, we’re actively breaking down barriers, improving accessibility, and making it easier for more volunteers to get involved. We want our volunteers to reflect the vibrant communities we serve — because diverse voices make us stronger, more creative, and more effective. We’ve worked with Inclusive Employers to review and improve our volunteer recruitment and onboarding, and we’ve implemented their recommendations to ensure these processes are as accessible and inclusive as possible for everyone.
Whether you’re supporting sessions, helping behind the scenes, or bringing new ideas, you’ll be joining a team built on respect, dignity, and encouragement. We’ll give you the training, support, and confidence you need to make a real difference — while feeling valued every step of the way. We’ll work with you individually to find a role that’s fulfilling and right for you. You tell us your strengths and interests — we’ll help tailor your role, so you feel comfortable and supported.
🚲 Different ways to volunteer – in person, at sessions and events, or remotely
🚲 Local opportunities – we’ll connect you to your nearest hub
🚲 Flexible volunteering – any time you can support us will be greatly appreciated
🚲 Personal support – we’ll take the time to understand your needs and help tailor our roles accordingly to allow you to perform the role to your best ability
