Our wonderful Wheels For All volunteers have given up their time to serve the people of East Lancashire by providing disability cycling sessions at Hyndburn Wheels For All, which involves supporting people with disabilities to ride and enjoy our fleet of specially adapted bikes.
Our newly established East Lancashire Pedal Away volunteers have helped and supported people to use a bike for the first time and return to cycling after many years for social and health benefits on our group social cycle rides.
Our Cycling Projects volunteer programme is funded by Sport England and East Lancashire Pedal Away is funded by Lancashire County Council, Prospects Foundation through the Windfall Trust and additional funding through Red Rose Recovery for help training new volunteers as ride leaders.
