Kendal Cycle Club presents Wheels for All Kendal with their new Tomcat Dragon trike

Posted:

Kendal Cycle Club (KCC) presented Wheels for All Kendal with a Tomcat Dragon recumbent trike earlier this week.

KCC held a raffle to raise funds for Wheels for All Kendal; with amazing prizes donated by Ribble Cycles, Ollie Bridgewood of GCN show (Global Cycling Network) and Chris Packman of Top Dog Events. The event raised nearly £1,700 - enough to buy this specialist trike.

“The new trike is a wonderful addition to our fleet of adapted cycles and will mean more people will have the opportunity to ride a suitable bike,” says Chris Fisher, Wheels for All Kendal Co-ordinator.

“KCC has supported us from the very beginning, and we are very grateful for the continued support they have offered us over the years. Many club members volunteer regularly to help at our cycle sessions and give their time freely for various events and fundraisers throughout the year.”

Wheels for All aims to encourage health improvement, social inclusion and to provide adapted cycling for anyone with a disability or differing needs.
