Cycling Projects and the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority are pleased to announce the launch of Wheels for All Doncaster, in partnership with Doncaster Culture Leisure Trust.
Wheels for All is an Inclusive Cycling programme which embraces all children and adults with disabilities and differing needs to engage with quality cycling activity, using adapted cycles such as handcycles, trikes and wheelchair transporter to assist building confidence and independence in cycling.
Leanne Knight, Wheels for All Regional Coordinator commented:” I am delighted to announce the launch of our Wheels for All Doncaster Hub at the Doncaster Cycle Track at the Dome this January. We have had a great response from the local community and seen that there is an ever-growing demand for this type of activity. Working with our volunteers and staff at DCLT has provided a fantastic opportunity to get more people cycling no matter their experience.”
Wheels for All Doncaster will be officially opened by Active Travel Commissioner Dame Sarah Storey on Wednesday 26th January. Join in the fun and have a try on our adapted cycles from 9.00am - 12.00pm. Booking is required and can be done via https://tinyurl.com/WFADonny
