Wheels for All is proud to announce a new collaboration partnership agreement with British Cycling, the national governing body for cycling in the UK.
As the national inclusive cycling charity, Wheels for All is dedicated to ensuring that disabled people of all ages and abilities can access and enjoy cycling. This partnership strengthens our ability to grow and promote a thriving network of inclusive cycling Hubs, creating more opportunities for people to participate at every level. Through this collaboration we will be a leading voice for inclusive and accessible cycling across the country.
This partnership will enhance signposting to our existing network of inclusive cycling Hubs, helping riders, volunteers, and centres connect with British Cycling’s Limitless clubs. This will establish a clearer pathway for those who want to continue their cycling journey, whatever their ability.
The partnership will also provide valuable education, development, and mentoring opportunities for volunteers, ensuring they feel confident and well-equipped to deliver high-quality, inclusive cycling sessions.
By working with British Cycling, we are opening more doors for disabled people to stay active. This partnership also supports our shared commitment to creating a lasting social impact, with British Cycling providing additional volunteer and growth opportunities to support our work.
Joe McTague, COO of Wheels for All, said:
“This partnership is an exciting step forward in helping more disabled people discover the joy of cycling and supporting them on their journey, wherever it may take them. By working with British Cycling, we can open up more opportunities and ensure cycling is accessible to all.”
Hilary Conway, National Partnership Manager at British Cycling, added:
“We are thrilled to formalise this already well-established relationship with Wheels for All. With their proven track record of delivering inclusive cycling, we want to work together to identify key geographical areas where provision can be developed and expanded to better support disabled people and grow our network of opportunities to bring the joy of cycling to everyone.”
