The Knowsley Feelgood Festival is always a highlight in our calendar – and this year’s event was no exception.
Bringing together Wheels for All and Pedal Away volunteers from all four of our hubs across the Knowsley Borough, the festival was a true celebration of community spirit. Volunteers gave their time, energy, and enthusiasm to showcase inclusive cycling, helping people of all ages and abilities experience the joy of riding.
The day was filled with laughter, smiles, and the sound of spinning wheels as families, children, and festival-goers tried out a wide range of adapted and two-wheeled cycles.
Jonpaul, Inclusive Cycling Coordinator at Knowsley, said:
“It was brilliant to see all of our hubs come together for such a positive and uplifting day. The Feelgood Festival really captures the sense of community in Knowsley, and our volunteers went above and beyond to make sure everyone could get involved and have fun on the bikes.”
The event also gave the team an opportunity to shine a light on the importance of inclusive cycling and the difference it makes to people locally.
Ben Whittingham, Regional Manager for Liverpool City Region, Cheshire and North Wales, added:
“Knowsley Feelgood Festival is about bringing people together, and we’re proud to play our part by opening up cycling for everyone. The energy, teamwork, and dedication shown by our volunteers is what makes days like this so special – and it’s exactly why Wheels for All is such a vital part of the community.”
Huge thanks go to all our volunteers, everyone who made it possible for us to be involved, and congratulations to the Parks Team, Knowsley Council, and One Knowsley for hosting another wonderful event.
We can’t wait to be back next year – same time, same place!
