Wheels for All is pleased to announce that we have partnered with the team at Ingevity as a corporate supporter of inclusive cycling in England.
Wheels for All recently launched two brand new fundraising initiatives, one aimed at individual support and one at corporate support, with Ingevity proudly being our first official corporate supporter.
Ingevity, a North Charleston, South Carolina, based specialty chemicals and materials manufacturer with a focus on sustainability, has a presence in over 24 locations across the world, including their Advanced Polymer Technologies plant located in Warrington, where Wheels for All’s Head Office is also based. This support come through Ingevity’s ‘IngeviCares’ philanthropy program which provides support for communities where the company operates through employee volunteering and financial donations.
Over the coming months we are excited to welcome the team from Ingevity to some of our Hubs in the northwest where they will be donating their time as part of their corporate social responsibility efforts. This volunteering will take place across two of our Hubs in the northwest and we look forward to the team joining our sessions and experiencing the joy that inclusive cycling can bring to people first-hand.
As well as this, we are thrilled to have been the recipient of a £1500 donation from the team at Ingevity, an amazing sum of money which will mean we are able to provide even more inclusive cycling opportunities to disabled people and others with long term health conditions in our local communities.
Clare Gorman, HR Business Partner for Ingevity, said in a statement “At Ingevity we believe in giving back to the community and supporting initiatives that promote inclusivity and well-being. That’s why we are proud to contribute to Wheels for All, an incredible charity that provides cycling opportunities for people of all abilities. Our donation reflects our commitment to making a meaningful impact, ensuring that individuals can experience the joy and freedom of cycling in a safe and supportive environment. We recognise the importance of accessibility in sports and recreation, and we’re honoured to support an organisation that shares our values of inclusion, empowerment, and community spirit”.
This was echoed by Nicola Henshaw, Head of Fundraising and Development at Wheels for All, who said “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work alongside the Ingevity team for the first time this year, we are very much looking forward to building a strong partnership that will benefit both the charity and the business, exciting times ahead!’
A huge thanks you to Ingevity for this valuable support. We are so happy to have everybody on board with Wheels for All’s vision for the inclusive cycling landscape and we look forward to working with you all in 2025.
