Wheels for All Secures £20,000 Grant to Boost Inclusive Cycling Programs Across Local Communities

Posted:

We are delighted to share that Wheels for All has been awarded a generous £20,000 grant over two years from Cheshire Community Foundation and the Steve Morgan Foundation. This support will enable us to continue and expand our mission of making cycling accessible for everyone, regardless of age or ability.

Wheels for All has provided inclusive cycling opportunities that break down the barriers for almost 30 years and we are proud to be headquartered in Warrington whilst delivering sessions across England. Through this funding, we will be able to strengthen our reach and presence within the Warrington community, offering more inclusive cycling sessions, providing specialised cycles, and supporting more individuals in discovering the joy, freedom, and health benefits of cycling.

Supporting Community Inclusion Through Cycling

The grant will help us maintain and grow our cycling programs, covering costs that go into adapted equipment, session delivery, and the training of dedicated staff and volunteers who assist in our programs. By increasing the availability of adapted cycles and trained support staff, we can cater to a wide range of needs, ensuring everyone can enjoy the benefits of physical activity, social interaction, and the empowerment that comes with cycling.
