Wheels for All Surrey Hubs awarded £1,000 grant to support inclusive cycling!

Posted:

We’re delighted to share that Wheels for All hubs in Surrey have been awarded a £1,000 grant from the Community Foundation for Surrey! This generous funding will help us continue delivering inclusive cycling opportunities for disabled people and those who face barriers to cycling.

The Community Foundation for Surrey connects local donors with community-led initiatives, ensuring that funding reaches the projects making a real difference to people’s lives. As part of a national network of 47 Community Foundations, they are at the heart of one of the UK’s fastest-growing philanthropic movements.

Philippa Curphey, Wheels for All Regional Manager for the South, said: “This funding is a fantastic boost for our Surrey Hubs. It will help us reach more people who may have thought cycling wasn’t an option for them and give them the chance to enjoy the benefits of being active. We’re so grateful to the Community Foundation for Surrey for supporting our mission to make cycling accessible for all.”

This support will enable us to provide even more people with the chance to enjoy the benefits of cycling—boosting confidence, independence, and wellbeing.

Thank you to the Community Foundation for Surrey for believing in our mission!
