Celebrating student volunteer week

Posted:

Cycling Projects is celebrating Student Volunteering Week by thanking our committed student volunteers who have supported the charity to deliver inclusive cycling activities and raise awareness over the last 12 months and (Virtually) opening our doors to welcome more students to our organisation.

Student Volunteering Week began on Monday February 8th and runs until Sunday the 14th.

Cycling Projects are excited to provide a range of volunteer opportunities to students, which include cycling mechanic, befriending support, administration, social media, marketing, research, cycle leadership, photography and trusteeships. We’re also very open to students working together on a volunteering project to support the charity, at present Dearne Valley College are designing a marketing campaign for an inclusive cycling event that will be held at the college this spring.

We welcome students to get involved from anywhere in England and Wales, we can match you up with the nearest inclusive cycling centre or you can volunteer virtually from the comfort of your own home for digital and research roles.

Students who would like to find out more about volunteering with the charity can contact Tom Glynn by email at volunteer@cycling.org.uk.
