The course is both practical and theoretical, offering modules on the wide range of adapted cycles we use, risk assessments, client assessment, instruction skills, cycle development and progression as well as session planning and delivery.
The training is aimed at a varied professions and organisations from parents, health professionals, care and supports worker to physios, occupational therapists and teachers. With the training you will be qualified to deliver inclusive cycling activities for people with disabilities and differing needs.
As well as the leader course on offer we have maintenance courses on offer with basic level courses for the maintenance of the adapted cycles we use, and an advanced course if you maintain your own adapted cycles.
