Highlights From Rotherham Inclusive Cycling Event

On Monday 5th July 2021, Cycling Project hosted a fantastic inclusive cycling event in Rotherham at Dearne Valley College.

Members of the public, students and disability groups attended the event to experience the range of adapted cycles on offer, which are suitable for people with learning difficulties, mobility issues, impairments, physical disabilities, poor mental health and older age health conditions.

Visitors tried out several bikes during their visit, to see which was most suitable for their bodies, fitness and coordination. The favourites were the green ‘Tom Cat Dragon Trike’ and the side by side ‘Davinci Handcycle’.

Student volunteers from Dearne Valley College helped to manage and deliver the busy Wheels for All sessions, which were energising and fun-filled.
