Position Details:
• Job Title: Inclusive Cycling Co-Ordinator
• Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum (FTE), depending on experience and location
• Hours: Part-time, 14-21 hours per week (0.4-0.6 FTE)
• Contract: Fixed term until March 31st, 2026
• Location: Lancashire (primarily Preston and Hyndburn)

About the Role

As the Inclusive Cycling Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering accessible cycling programs for children, adults, the elderly, and those with disabilities or health conditions. This position involves leading cycling activities, developing inclusive programs, and coordinating volunteers. You’ll ensure every participant has a positive and engaging experience, regardless of their ability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Activity Coordination: Organise and deliver inclusive cycling sessions, ensuring safety and engagement for all participants.
• Hub Development: Support the creation and sustainability of inclusive cycling hubs, including contributing to funding bids.
• Volunteer Development: Assist in the recruitment, training, and support of volunteers, ensuring they are motivated and valued.
• Monitoring and Evaluation: Use Kinetic+ to collect data and monitor the quality, safety, and impact of our cycling sessions.
• Marketing and Communications: Collaborate with the marketing team to showcase the charity’s impact.
• General Duties: Ensure adherence to Wheels for All policies, foster a positive working environment, and promote health and safety standards.

• Passion for inclusivity and accessibility in community programs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Collaborative and team-oriented.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Empathetic and sensitive to participants’ needs.
• Flexible with working hours.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Desirable:
• Experience in coordinating cycling programs.
• Volunteer management experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Understanding of fundraising principles.
