Wheels for All winter closures 2024

Posted:

Wheels for All will be closing its inclusive cycling hubs across the country throughout December and January as part of a proactive and planned closure. This winter pause enables us to focus on essential behind-the-scenes activities, including fleet maintenance, recruitment and training of our current staff and volunteers. Additionally, each Hub will conduct reviews and action planning to enhance our service delivery for the coming year.

Based on experience from previous winters, we know that attendance and demand for sessions is generally lower during this period and the winter weather creates greater health and safety challenges and to short-notice cancellations, which we can avoid by implementing a planned seasonal closure.

This approach ensures that we will return in the spring with safe, well-maintained equipment and fully prepared teams ready to deliver a high-quality experience for all. We are grateful that so many of you are so eager to support Wheels for All by attending sessions and understand that Hub closures can be disappointing.

We appreciate your understanding and support, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2025.

Thank you for being part of the Wheels for All community.
