Kendal Cycling Festival

Posted:

From the 30th of April to the 1st of May Wheels for All Kendal will be involved in the Kendal Cycling Festival!

On the Sunday morning, we’re joining with a social ride with Jenny Graham (current world record holder for fastest time cycling around the world unsupported) and Kendal Cycling Club (KCC). They are riding to Staveley and have asked us to join them as far as the end of the cycle path en route. They’ve chosen this route especially so we can join in. We will be pairing up participants with the cycles they usually.

On the Monday morning we will have a selection of adapted cycles for people to use who need assistance. This is mostly a ticketed event but others passing through may use them if available at the time. They are closing off the main road in Kendal for Wheels for All to use for 3 hours from 10am until 1pm. This is referred to in the festival information as ‘a bike for everyone.’
