Meet Philippa!

Posted:

Our Marbury Park Hub is now back open in Northwich and its been great to welcome so many participants back to the park and to our sessions on a Wednesday.
One returning participant is the lovely Philippa who comes to the sessions with a group from M-Power, who are based all over the north west.
A keen cyclist, Philippa is actually an Olympic athlete, having competed in table tennis tournaments in the Special Olympics!
“Phillipa loves coming to the sessions at Marbury Park and we’re all really proud of her commitment to staying active, given that she has competed professionally in other activities. As you can see she reps Team GB every chance she gets so its amazing to see her so involved’, one of Philippa’s carer’s, Claire, told us.
Wheels for All is dedicated to bringing inclusive cycling to everybody in the UK and we’re thrilled that Philippa and all of the participants from M-Power are able to benefit from the work we do across the country.
Paul, our Delivery Co-Ordinator at Marbury Park agrees, saying “Being able to say that we have a Special Olympian at one of our sessions is a great testament to the benefits of cycling and how it should be an activity that promotes accessibility and inclusion. We’re so pleased to have Philippa and all of M-Power on board at Wheels for All.”
