Meet Sylvia!

Meet Sylvia! Sylvia has been coming to Wheels for All Litherland Park since having a stroke. Here she tells us all about how the sessions help with her mobility and her path to recovery

Posted:

Sylvia has been coming to our Wheels for All Hub at Litherland Sports Park to help aid her recovery after having a stroke, where she attends with the team from Merseyside Life After Stroke.

As you can see Sylvia has come on leaps and bounds since she started attending the Hub and she’s pictured here with a big smile on her face on one of our Theraplay adapted cycles.

“Attending session at Litherland Sports Park has helped me massively. I get to see everyone in person, and it’s definitely helped my legs. In my right leg, I didn’t have a great deal of movement, but it’s really improved as I’ve kept coming back.” Sylvia told us.

We’re thrilled that Wheels for All can aid in Sylvia’s recovery. We’re dedicated to improving the lives of everybody who attends our sessions, no matter their ability, and Sylvia is testament to how much inclusive cycling can truly help physical activity levels, recovery and socialising!

Well done Sylvia!
