Success at Wheels for All Open Day

As you may know we held an Open Day at our Halewood Hub in Knowsley on Friday 1st March and we’re pleased to say it was a huge success!

Posted:

The Open Day was a chance for local people to come down and take part in a taster session, speak to our team about the opportunities that Wheels for All can create for everybody in their community regardless of ability, and generally learn more about who we are and what we do.

Paul Rowland, our Delivery Co-Ordinator for the day said, “it was great to see so many people come along to Halewood Park and enquire about Wheels for All and how we can bring more awareness to the need for inclusive cycling to those who need us most”.

The day was also a chance for potential volunteers to come and find out how donating your time to Wheels for All can benefit the charity. We are currently looking for people who can volunteer in a variety of roles including ride leaders, maintenance volunteers, meet and greet, and many more.

“Seeing people interested in giving their time to Wheels for All was amazing to see. The charity has some really dedicated volunteers and its always great to know that new people want to be a part of the work we do here and join the Wheels for All family in some way”, Rhys Phillips, our National Volunteer Manager said.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the event and to all of our team for putting together such a valuable day.
