“Wheels for All Birkenhead Park has been absolutely brilliant for me. I’m coming back from a brain injury so – for my balance and re-learning to walk and getting back on a bike – all this has been absolutely superb.
I started on three wheels and I’m now on a bicycle; I wouldn’t have been able to do any of that without having this facility and the support from all the team here.
It is a superb thing to have locally – being able to come down and ride the bikes and get back onto two wheels. It’s great to have this place because there are so many of us who think, maybe we don’t have the time … but actually we can make the time to come down, and do something like this.
It’s just brilliant.”
