Meet Adam!

Posted:

At Wheels for All, we celebrate every cyclist’s unique journey, and Adam’s story is one of dedication, growth, and community. Adam, 15, attends the Salford sessions regularly, accompanied by his mum, Sonia, and their long-time neighbour and friend, Janet. Having lived on the same street for several years, the trio shares a close bond, making their trips to the sessions a regular highlight of the week.

Over the summer, Adam’s passion for cycling has truly flourished. While he initially enjoyed riding some of the adapted cycles, his confidence has grown tremendously. Now, he’s confidently pedalling on a standard two-wheeled cycle, a huge accomplishment that’s brought smiles to everyone involved.

Janet, on the other hand, attends for a different reason. Struggling with some issues with her knees, she finds the adapted cycles perfect for her needs. Often spotted in her bright, colourful outfits, Janet brings a cheerful energy to every session.
For Adam, Sonia, and Janet, these sessions are more than just about cycling—they’re about strengthening friendships, staying active, and being part of a supportive community. We’re thrilled to be part of their journey!

Would you like to join them and experience the joy of inclusive cycling? Come along to one of our Salford sessions!
